About the Role:
VAZQUEZ & POUDAT PLLC is seeking a skilled Business Immigration Attorney to join our dynamic legal team in Orlando, FL. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping businesses and individuals navigate the complexities of U.S. immigration law. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file business immigration petitions including H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, and EB-series cases
- Advise corporate clients on employment-based visa strategies, compliance, and workforce immigration planning
- Manage PERM labor certification applications and coordinate with the Department of Labor
- Represent clients before USCIS, DOL, and other federal agencies
- Draft legal briefs, RFE responses, appeals, and motions related to immigration matters
- Maintain and manage a caseload of business immigration matters from intake through resolution
- Stay current on changes in immigration law, policy, and regulatory updates
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active bar license in Florida or eligibility for Florida bar admission
- 1+ years of experience in business immigration law preferred
- Proficiency with employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visa categories
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required

Compensation: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year

Board certification in the area of US Immigration law is held by less than one hundred attorneys licensed in Florida. It requires passage of a rigorous exam and peer review.
